Wow! what a great summer it has been. So many of us have been consumed with so many things. From camping to baseball to boating it has already been a summer full of fun stuff and memories. Let's not forget the beautiful weather and the heat.

I can hardly believe that in a few short weeks the kids will be heading back to school. I think I just heard a few amens from the parents...lol August is going to be a great month at Cooley Avenue and we want all of you to be a part of it.

August 1st our College and Carrer group will be heading to Cedar Point for a day of fun and fellowship. The youth group will be going to Cedar Point Wednesday August 4th also. This is a great opportunity to fellowship with some great people and have some fun.

We will be having our church picnic Sunday August 22nd at the Scenic Outlook park in the Cleveland Metroparks. We will not be having Sunday school this day. We will have service at 9:30 at the church and then we will head down to the park immediately following service for some fellowship, food, volleyball, horseshoes, cornhole, fishing, and a whole lot of fun. Come be apart of this great day!

On August 27-29th we will be having revival with evangelist Joel Talley. I am excited about what the Lord is going to do for us in these four services. Come expecting a great move of God for your life. Pray that the Lord would use these services to minister to our church. 

As summer comes to a close I want to urge each of you to make it a priority to make sure you make time for the Lord and for your family. I believe the Lord will bless you for your faithfulness and for your commitment to Him and to the church in these busy times.
